National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Associate-I for the ANRF sponsored project in the Department of Physics entitled “Exploring novel transport induced by quantum geometry in unconventional superconductors” in 2026.

Essential Qualification : MSc. in Physics or BS-MS in Physics
Desirable Experience : Basic knowledge in condensed matter physics.
Salary :
(i) Rs.37,000/- + HRA to Scholars whose selection is through: (a) National Eligibility Tests, CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs.30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
