Popular Bengali cinema actor Srabanti Chatterjee, on Thursday, quit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“Reason being their lack of initiative and sincerity to further the cause of Bengal,” said Srabanti Chatterjee while announcing her decision to quit BJP.
Chatterjee had joined the BJP earlier this year just before the Assembly elections in West Bengal.
