A total of 8 people were arrested by Jaipur Police after a question paper of NEET 2021 was leaked from an examination centre in the city on Sunday.
The examination started at 2 pm on Sunday and the question paper was reportedly leaked at 2:30 pm through WhatsApp.
The question paper was leaked from the NEET 2021 examination at the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET) in Jaipur, say media reports.

A candidate, 18-year-old Dineshwari Kumari, has been arrested, who appeared for the Sunday examination, reports said.
The Jaipur Police also arrested 7 others including invigilator Ram Singh, in-charge of the examination centre’s administration unit and Mukesh, Dineshwari’s uncle in connection with the case.
Candidate Dineswari Kumari was sent to jail while the others were taken on police remand.
According to a report, coaching director Navratna Swamy was found to have masterminded the whole paper leak issue.
The NEET 2021 paper leak case was carried out in exchange for Rs 35 lakh, police said.
“The deal was finalised for Rs 30 lakh of which Rs 10 lakh was to be given soon after the exam is over,” a media report quoted DCP Richa Tomar as saying.
DCP Tomar revealed that after the examination started, accused Ram Singh and Mukesh sent the photos of the examination paper to two persons sitting in an apartment in Jaipur’s Chitrakoot area through WhatsApp, who then forwarded it to some other people in Sikar.
“The men (in Sikar) forwarded the answer key to the two men in Chitrakoot, who then forwarded it to Mukesh. Mukesh then forwarded it to Ram Singh. Singh helped Dineshwari solve the paper with the help of the answer key,” the police officer said.
The police officer, according to the report, said Dineshwari’s uncle was present outside the examination centre with Rs. 10 lakh in cash, which was supposed to be delivered to the accused who were helping the candidate.
“The deal was finalised for Rs 30 lakh of which Rs 10 lakh was to be given soon after the exam is over,” she said.
Police officer Tomar said the hunt is on for those who prepared the answer key in Sikar.
