UPSC civil service candidate links Rahul Gandhi with Narendra Modi

Rahul Gandhi is definitely the biggest critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But, a civil service candidate has linked the two arch political rivals.

The name of a civil service candidate, who secured rank 420, on Tuesday triggered nationwide delight. He is Rahul Modi.

While Pradeep Singh has topped the exams, Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma secured the second and third rank, respectively.

According to reports, Rahul Modi’s roll number was 6312980.

A total of 829 candidates have been shortlisted for appointments in various services like Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Services, Indian Foreign Services, and Indian Revenue Services among others.

Rahul Modi, who has been able to secure a good rank, is expected to make it to Central Services Group.

The UPSC released recruitment notification for 180 posts of IAS, 150 of IPS, 24 of IFS, 438 in Central Services Group A, and 135 in Group B Services, says a report.

Out of the total candidates, who have cleared the exams, 304 cleared in the general category, 78 in economically weaker section (EWS), 251 in Other Backward Class (OBC), 67 in Scheduled Tribes, and 129 in the Scheduled Castes (SC) category.
