Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Saturday due to breathing problems.
The ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ star has tested negative for COVID19 but he is currently under observation.
According to a statement of the hospital, the actor is ‘perfectly fine’.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the actor said: “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative.”
“With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings,” Dutt added.

Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata Dutt and twin children Iqra and Shahraan have been in Dubai since the lockdown, say reports.
Sanjay Dutt is set to feature in multiple films in the next few weeks.
He will first be seen in ‘Sadak 2’ and the film will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28.
