Lockdown 2: Modi formulates 7-step action plan to be followed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday formulated a seven-step action plan for every Indian citizen to be followed during the next phase of the nationwide lockdown that has been extended up to May 3.

Modi said the first step, which needs to be followed during the lockdown, is to ensure that elderly persons at home are being properly taken care especially those who have chronic ailments.

“We have to take extra care of elderly persons who have chronic ailments and keep them safe from Coronavirus,” said Modi.

The second step is everyone should completely adhere to the ‘Lakshman Rekha’ of lockdown and social distancing and to use homemade face-coversand masks without fail, Modi added.

He said the third step is to follow the instructions issued by AYUSH ministry so that one can enhance their immunity amid the coronavirus pandemic

“Regularly consume warm water and ‘kadha’,” said PM Modi.

Modi’s fourth step is everyone should download the Arogya Setu mobile app and inspire others to download the app as well in order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

The Prime Minister’s fifth step of action plan is that one should take care of the poor families as per their capacities and try to fulfil their food requirements.

His next step of advice to the Indian citizens is to be compassionate towards the people who work with them in their business or industry and to ensure that their livelihoods are not deprived.

The last step is everyone should to pay utmost respect to the nation’s Corona Warriors like doctors, nurses, sanitation workers and the police forces.
