The CBSE said it is yet to announce the dates regarding declaration of Class 10 and 12 results and termed the news that it would declare the results on July 11 and 13 as ‘fake’.

A notice regarding the declaration of CBSE Class 10 result on July 11 and Class 12 result on July 13 was circulated on the social media on Thursday.

Central Board of School Education (CBSE) PRO Rama Sharma told the media persons that the notice, circulated on the social media regarding the CBSE result dates, is “fake”.

“It has come to the notice of the Board that there is a fake message being circulated with regard to the declaration of class X and XII?Board Results 2020. It is hereby clarified that Board has not yet announced the result dates. Public is hereby advised to await the announcement on CBSE’s official website or social media account,” CBSE said in a statement.

The board earlier announced that the CBSE Class 10 & 12 results would be declared by July 15 based on the new assessment scheme.

The fake notice said: “Due to high demand, and owing to the remaining admission process of students various universities and colleges in India and (or) abroad, the central Board of Secondary Education along with the Ministry of HRD has decided to release the results of students of Class 10 and 12 as early as possible.”

The notice with grammatical error also said: “The Revised date of the results are as follows. The results of students of class XII will be available on 11.07.2020 by 4 p.m. The results of class X students will be available on 13.07.2020 latest.”
