In order to use the fingerprint lock feature, one must first go to Google Play Store and update the WhatsApp application.
After downloading the updated version of WhatsApp, one must go the Settings section in WhatsApp.
One must next proceed to the Account section and then click on Privacy section and finally on the Fingerprint Lock section.
Users must turn on the unlock with fingerprint feature and then confirm their fingerprint.
