A West Sikkim-based Sarvodaya Samaj had organized ‘Asar Mahotsav’ with series of activities in a grand manner at Lingchom of Gyalshing in West Sikkim on Sunday.
The festival was celebrated with quiz, cultural programme and mud football, volleyball and other sporting activities.

The festival had the state agriculture minister, L N Sharma as the chief guest and was accompanied by PHE minister B H Limboo as guest of honour.
The chief guest and guest of honour along with other dignitaries also participated in the paddy planting ceremony.
