Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kr Deb has become synonymous with controversial statements. After making a number of crazy comments, the 46-year-old Chief Minister now threatened that if anyone interferes in his government or poke at it, he would chop their nails off.
A video of the Tripura CM has emerged in which he can be seen issuing threat against those taking on his government. In the video, Tripura CM can be seen saying that if anyone interferes in his government or poke at it, he would chop their nails off.
“When it’s something of the government people take it for granted. If it is government then loot it, they say. When a bottle gourd comes in the market, everyone presses it with the nail to see if it is fresh or not. Same is the thinking of the people towards government. It’s of the government, use it the way you want to, no one is there to say a word. At 8 am, the vendor brings a fresh bottle gourd but by 9 am it gets rotten due to repeated nailing. The vendor had to feed it to the cow or take it back home. This should not happen with my government. No interference in my government. If someone pokes, or interferes his nail should be chopped off. No one can touch my government. Government is not Biplab Deb, government is public,” Republic TV quoted Deb as saying.
On Friday, continuing with his bizarre logic spree, Biplab Deb had advised the youth of his state to not run after politicians for government jobs, instead milk cows and open pan shops.
He also said that instead of running after government jobs, youth should open a paan shop.
