Sensation prevails after a youth from Tripura was found dead in Chennai.

The deceased’s family terms it a case of murder and demand for the arrest of his ex-girlfriend.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Mijan Hussain, a resident of Maynama village under Sonamura Sub-division in the Sepahijala district.

His body was found on Wednesday hanging in his rented house located at the Tirumannai area of Chennai.

Mijan Hussain’s father told that his son had been working in Chennai for the last few months and stayed in a rented house at Tharamani.

On Wednesday Mijan’s family members received a phone call from Chennai and the caller informed them about his death.

Mijan’s body was found hanging at his rented house, the caller told the deceased’s family. Police recovered a finger ring near the body.

Family members suspect that Mijan was murdered and then the body was hung.

Mijan’s father and brother said a girl from Bishalgarh area has also been working in Chennai with whom he had a relationship.

“But recently, the girl developed a relationship with another boy due to which the relationship between Mijan and the girl turned out to be bitter,” they said.

“Both Mijan and the girl stayed in closely-located rented houses,” they added.

Family members suspect that the girl and his new boyfriend have murdered Mijan.

They demand that the girl be immediately arrested by the police to bring out the truth.
