Amid ongoing crisis of mask across Tripura, Dharmanagar BJP Mahila Morcha leader Rupali Adhikari has taken the initiative to prepare mask and distribute them among the needy people.

Talking to media, Adhikari stated that masks will be distributed for free in 56 assembly constituency.

“The masks will be distributed among the people who can’t afford them. A total of 5100 masks are being prepared at the houses of several Mahila Morcha leaders and it is expected that the crisis of mask will be met to some extent,” she said.

The Khowai police, in its fight against COVID-19, has introduced a body sanitizer at the entrance of the Khowai market to ensure sanitization of every person who comes to the market.

It was informed that the Khowai police has spent 11 hours to prepare this innovative body sanitizer.

Everyone who comes to the market will have to go through this body sanitizer chamber to get themselves sanitize before they enter the market, the Khowai police said.
