AGARTALA: Pradyot Debbarma, the founder of TIPRA party and a Tripura royal scion, delivered a pointed statement suggesting that both the CPI-M and Congress are unlikely to secure victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, not only in Tripura but also in other regions of the country.
Arriving at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala alongside BJP candidates Biplab Kumar Deb and Kriti Singh Debbarma for East and West Tripura respectively, Pradyot expressed satisfaction with the decision following a series of discussions between BJP and TIPRA party.

“We have reached a significant agreement, reminiscent of previous collaborations. I am particularly pleased that my sister has been selected as our candidate. We aim for seamless execution of our agreement and believe she is the ideal candidate to address our concerns within a stipulated timeframe,” he affirmed.
While emphasizing his dedication to the people and expressing reluctance to engage in internal political strife, Pradyot vowed to challenge those who have wronged him.
“My allegiance lies with my people; I am committed to their cause. The era of those who have held power for over 25 years is waning, revealing their true allegiances. Their prospects for victory are slim,” he asserted.
