Chairman of TIPRA (The Indigenous People’s Regional Alliance) – Pradyot Debbarma has accused ‘some’ of the media outlets in Agartala of being ‘biased’ against his party.
Pradyot Debbarma alleged that there are a few media outlets in Tripura, who want an “indigenous person” to be ‘mouthpiece’ of the narrative that they set.
The TIPRA chairman further questioned the claimed neutrality of these media outlets in Agartala.
Pradyot Debbarma said: “Some of the Agartala based media has a bias against us. What they want is an indigenous person to be a mouth piece for the narrative they want to set. Who says that media is neural and unbiased towards communities?”
