Tripura has registered 39 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,441.
Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet on Thursday said a total of 1,325 samples were tested in the state on Thursday for COVID19, out of which 39 were found positive for the virus.
“Today out of 1325 samples tested for COVID-19, 39 people found #POSITIVE,” chief minister Deb tweeted.
The chief minister informed that while West Tripura district has reported 18 positive cases, North Tripura district has reported 6 cases and similar number of cases have been reported from Sepahijala district.
Dhalai district has reported 5 COVID19 positive cases while Khowai district has reported 2 cases and one case has been reported from South Tripura and Gomati districts, the chief minister informed.
“The count includes : West Dist : 18. North Dist : 6. Sepahijala Dist: 6. Dhalai Dist : 5. Khowai Dist: 2. South Dist : 1. Gomati Dist: 1,” Deb tweetd.
