Tripura registers 25 new COVID19 positive cases, state tally rises to 471

Tripura has registered 25 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 471.

Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet at 10.32 pm on Tuesday said a total of 581 samples were tested for COVID19 in the state on the day, out of which 25 were found positive.

The chief minister also informed that out of the new infected patients, 23 have travel history while 2 others came into contact with COVID19 positive cases.

“Alert ~ More 25 people found #COVID19 POSITIVE in Tripura today out of 581 samples tested. Among them, 23 people have travel history & 2 people are contacts of COVID19 patients,” chief minister deb said in the tweet.

As the number of COVID19 positive cases in the state is on the rise, the chief minister has requested the people of Tripura to be “cautious”

“Requesting everyone to be cautious,” the chief minister said.
