Tripura on Thursday registered 206 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s total to 3,680.
From July 19-July 21, Tripura has recorded more than 200 new COVID19 cases each day.
On Wednesday, the detection of positive cases went down and the state recorded 126 new cases on the day.
But on Thursday, the figure of positive cases again crossed the 200-mark.
So far, a total of 3,680 people have been infected by COVID19 in Tripura.
Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet on Thursday night said a total of 4,473 samples were tested on the day, out of which 206 were found positive for the virus.
The chief minister further said 136 were detected COVID19 positive in Antigen test and 7 patients were flight passengers.

Deb said while 5 patients were in containment zones and 42 came in contact with COVID19 positive patients.
The chief minister further said 9 patients are “symptomatic” and 7 of the infected patients had travel history.
Sepahijala district tops the list of positive cases registered in Tripura where 61 people were found COVID19 positive.
Of the other patients, 33 are from West Tripura district, 27 from North Tripura district, 46 from Gomati district, 10 from Dhalai, 20 from South Tripura, 8 from Khowai and 1 from Unakoti district.
Of these, 138 were found positive for COVID19 through antigen tests.
One person died in the morning on Thursday, bringing the death toll to 10.
