A massive fire broke out at the settlement office near the All India Radio (AIR) station in Agartala on Tuesday night.
However, no one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
According to sources, the fire nearly engulfed the All India Radio station had it not been for the effort of firefighters who managed to control it.

The locals also assisted the firefighters in bringing the fire under control.
Ten fire tenders rushed to the spot after the fire broke out and it took about two hours for the firefighters to completely douse the fire.
The settlement office is situated in the Palace compound area of Agartala, which also has the iconic Ujjayanta Palace, a government cooperative office and Agartala town hall and the AIR building.
A food court is also located close to the settlement office.
Meanwhile, many people suspect that the fire damaged all land documents.
According to sources, the flames have gutted a large number of land record related files, papers and other documents in the office.
Furniture, computers and other machines present inside the settlement were reduced to ashes in the fire.
Two BJP leaders, Tinku Roy, Papiya Datta also visited the spot on Monday night to take stock of the situation.
