Tripura police have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly molesting a minor girl in Udaipur on the outskirts of Agartala.
Police arrested Mithun Sarkar based on a complaint lodged by the family members of the six-year-old girl with Udaipur Women’s Police Station.
Police have registered a case (no 43/21) under relevant sections of the IPC and POSCO Act.
A local court in Agartala has sent the accused to 14-day judicial custody.
