Roy Barman had visited Bhagat Singh Yuba Awas Covid care centre and distributed fruits among the inmates of the centre.

The patients at the Centre alleged that the food provided to them were extremely poor.

The DM further said his entry into the Centre has been treated as unauthorized as no individual is allowed in the centre without prior permission.
Roy Barman, however, had refused to undergo institutional quarantine following which police registered a case against him.
The former health minister told reporters that some vested interest hatched conspiracy to send him to quarantine centre.
Roy Barman, who removed from the state cabinet in June last year, has been time and again vocal against Biplab Deb-led BJP government on different issues of the state.
