“PM Shri @narendramodi ji will be visiting UAE beginning 23 of this month, during the visit PM Modi will receive the award,” Deb tweeted.

The ‘Order of Zayed’ has been named after UAE’s founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The honour for Modi was conferred earlier in April, 2019 in recognition of his distinguished leadership for giving a boost to bilateral relations between the two countries.

The award assumes special significance as it has been conferred on Modi on the birth centenary year of the founding father of UAE.

During his visit, Modi will hold talks with the crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister, who will leave for Bahrain on August 24, will also hold talks with his Bahrain counterpart Prince Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
