Several BJP and CPI-M MLAs of Tripura are in touch with the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

This was claimed by TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee.

Banerjee said that the Tripura BJP and CPI-M MLAs who are in touch with the TMC may soon join the Mamata Banerjee-led party soon.

“Several MLAs from the ruling BJP and the CPI-M are eager to join the TMC,” claimed TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee.

Abhishek Banerjee, while briefing the media, said that the TMC “is the only party that cab challenge the misrule of the BJP”.

“Vandalism and hooliganism have no place in Tripura. We are ready to take the BJP head-on in the 2023 Assembly elections,” Abhishek Banerjee said.

He added that the TMC has no intention of denting prospects of Congress anyway.

“We have intention to harm prospects of Congress anyway. That is why we did not go to Uttar Pradesh or Punjab. But the fight against BJP can’t indefinitely wait for someone,” Banerjee said.
