Justice Satya Gopal Chattopadhyay on Friday took oath as the judge of Tripura High Court.

The new judge was sworn-in by Tripura High Court’s Chief Justice Akil Abdulhamid Kureshi in a ceremony at court premises.

Since 1975, Sikkim has a separate High Court also. Earlier, the seven northeastern states were under the Gauhati High Court.
