Saha said that he is fine and he is not at all COVID-19 positive and said social media posts are baseless and do not hold an iota of truth.
Saha said that one of his attendants has been suffering from fever and cough since a couple of days and he went to Bishalgarh hospital on Thursday, where he was found to be COVID-19 positive.
“He was shifted to a COVID Care Centre and neither I nor anyone from my family underwent COVID-19 tests,” Saha said.

The former minister has demanded strict action against those spreading rumours about him.
It may be mentioned here that a few days back, a fake twitter handle of CM Biplab Deb was created and rumours were spread that there would be lockdown again in the state.
The police, however, managed to bust the case and took the fraudsters into their custody.
