Along with the rest of the state, the Yakubnagar BSF jawans, BOP participated in the marathon on Tuesday to mark the “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking”.

The jawans participated in the marathon to create awareness on the menace of drugs. The members of 166th battalion jawans participated in a marathon across the Indo-Bangla border to create awareness among the children of the bordering areas.

On the other hand the Dharmanagar North district police have also organized an awareness meet with all the police members of the district. Discussion was held on controlling drug abuse in the state. Rally was also held with several awareness messages displayed on placards.
