Tripura has registered 102 more COVID19 positive cases on Monday night, taking the state’s overall tally to 423.
Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet at 11.21 pm on Monday said 578 samples were tested in the state on Monday, out of which 102 were found positive for COVID19.

The chief minister informed that all the infected patients have travel history.
As the numbers of COVID19 positive cases are on the rise, the chief minister has urged the people of the state to follow the government’s instructions and cooperate with them in the fight against the pandemic.

On Monday morning, the Tripura CM informed about detection of 5 more positive cases.
On Monday, Tripura has registered a total of 107 new COVID19 positive cases.
Tripura registered the first positive case in the first week of April.
The number of COVID19 positive cases in India has crossed 1.9 lakh mark after a record single-day jump of 8,392 people testing positive for the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
The total cases in India stand at 1,90,535 including 5,394 deaths, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
India has climbed to the seventh position in the list of 10 nations worst affected by the COVID19 pandemic, with more cases than that of France.
