Out of 120 samples tested in Tripura for coronavirus of Thursday,  reports of nine samples tested positive.

This was informed by Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday morning.

In a social media post, Deb said, “Out of the 120 samples that were tested for COVID-19 on Thursday, the reports of 9 of them come positive.”

Deb further informed that of the nine patients, seven have returned recently through train, while one came back in flight.

“Of the nine patients, seven returned to the state in trains, one through flight while one was infected after he came in contact with a previously infected person,” Deb added.

The overall tally of Tripura rose to 925 with these nine cases.
