Miscreants had burnt and looted ransacked 30 houses of CPIM supporters, including Pabitra Kar’s house on the night of December 30.

Two CPIM supporters, Litan Das and Swadhananda Das were seriously injured during the attack and have been shifted to Kolkata for better treatment

‘We were going to Khayerpur to visit the victims injured during the attack” said Pabitra Kar.

“The ruling party-backed miscreants burnt and ransacked many houses and tortured left supporters, including women,” he said.
