After Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, now deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma has tested positive for Covid19.

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb tested Covid19 positive on Wednesday.
Jishnu Dev Varma is now in home isolation.

Confirming the news, deputy chief minister Bishnu Dev Varma in a tweet on Thursday wrote: “Today I have tested positive for covid19 and have taken home quarantine. Let’s all keep safe and be safe.”

Both the Tripura chief minister and the deputy chief minister were in a programme on Tuesday.
The PIB on Thursday said the total positive cases recorded in Tripura in last 24 hours was 21 with one death.

“New COVID19 guidelines issued in Tripura with Saturday being declared as Mask Enforcement Day. All offices to have thermal screening along with regular sanitization of all crowded places,” the PIB said.

While retweeting the post, shared by Bishnu Dev Varma, chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb wished him quick and complete recovery.
