A team of 30 Assam riffles battalion of Radhanagar on Friday, distributed sports equipments to three schools.
The program was held at the Kumarghat PWD field under Unakuti District.

The initiative of distributing sports equipment has been taken for upliftment of sports in schools.
A total amount of three lakhs is being spent for the distribution of sports equipment among the children in three different schools including Ramguha Chowdhury Para, Lakhan Chara Ucvcha Buniyadi School and Fatiukroy HS school.
Sports equipments for cricket, football, volley ball, carom board and others were distributed.

SDM Kumarghat Jayanta Debbarma, Assam Riffle Major Anurag Sharma, Unakuti District SP Ajit Pratap Singh were present at the program.
The initiative taken by Assam Riffles was highly applauded by the locals.
