In the month of June, the Railway Police in Agartala Railway Station had recovered 50 kg of dry marijuana worth Rs 37 lakh from the Rajdhani Express. Eight packets of ganja weighing around 50 kilogram were found in the possession of one Lagan Kumar Sethi of Orissa, who was arrested.
The operation was led by Inspector Sourab Dasgupta of the GRP along with Assistant Inspector Sudip Kar while they were checking bags of passengers who were travelling towards New Delhi in the Rajdhani Express.
