Agartala: Tripura Police on Monday detained another individual suspected of involvement in the leakage of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) exam answer key.

The arrest took place in the Bishalgarh sub-division of Sepahijala District. Officer-In-Charge of Bishalgarh Police Station, Rana Chatterjee, stated, “We received a letter from the West Agartala Police Station requesting the detention of Amit Debbarma. Consequently, we detained him in the Bishalgarh sub-division for his alleged role in the answer key leak related to a TTAADC recruitment exam. He has been handed over to the West Agartala Police Station.”

Earlier, on Sunday, police detained the first suspect, identified as Chayan Saha, who operates a Xerox shop at Advisor Chowmuhani in the city.

According to the preliminary investigation, the Board Chairman, Datta Mohan Jamatia, had given the question paper and answer sheet to Saha for photocopying, where the leak reportedly occurred.
