Tripura: North District Police detains two; Yuva tablets seized

The North District Police in Tripura have once again detained two with a huge consignment of Yuva tablets and cash in Indian Currency.

Acting on a tip off, SDPO North Bhanapuda Chakraborty seized a huge consignment of Yuva tablets alongwith Rs 28 thousand cash.

Police has seized the consignment from the house of one Hafiza Begum from Dharmanagar Mandop para West Botroshi area.

It is to be mentioned here  that Hafiza Begum a 38 years old  middle aged women was staying here on rent. Reportedly, last night Hafiza Begum Sister’s and Hafiza’s brother in law Badshah Mia came to her house and were suppose to leave Dharamanagar via train on Monday morning.

However, just before leaving the police reached the spot and detained them. During a search police recovered a total of 10 packets from the possession of Badshah Mia. In the 10 packets there were 5 more packets with 200 Yuva tablets  which accounts to total 30 thousand of Yuva tablets.

Badshah Mia is a resident of Amtali Motin Nagar. Police have arrested Badshah Mia and Hafeza Begum and lodged a complaint under case number Dharmanagar 14/2019 and further investigation is underway.
