The Tripura health department will launch a special three-day vaccination drive for 15-18 years age group from Wednesday onwards.
The vaccination drive will cover maximum number of schools in all the eight districts of Tripura.

This special vaccination drive is expected to cover over two lakh children across Tripura.
“We plan to administer COVID vaccine doses to approximately 2,13,000 children,” Tripura chief minister Biplab Deb said.

He added: “Urging all parents to send their children for vaccination and strengthen our fight against the pandemic.”
The special vaccination drive for 15-18 years age group, which will begin on Wednesday, would culminate on January 22.
Earlier, CM Biplab Deb had stated that Tripura is ready to fight the third wave of COVID-19.
