The saffron party at the helm of power in the State has started holding organizational activities to reach out to the people eyeing to win both the Lok Sabha seats in the State – West Tripura and East Tripura.

According to party sources, the party core committee will sit for an all important meeting before Diwali festival to chalk out the organizational preparedness for the crucial Lok Sabha election.
Sources further revealed that State Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath will be entrusted with the responsibility of spearheading the party’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha election scheduled for early next year.
Meanwhile, electoral understanding for the Lok Sabha election still remains a contentious issue as the alliance partner, Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) wants to contest one Lok Sabha seat preferably East Tripura constituency.
