Bollywood singer Siddharth Mahadevan and popular singer Kumar Dhiraj of Assam will be performing at GIMT fest Euphuism on February 15 and 16 respectively. Euphuism, the Annual Cultural cum Technical fest, is being hosted by Girijananda Chowdhury Group of Institutions.

“We have invited popular singer of Assam, Kumar Dhiraj to perform at our event. Moreover, Bollywood singer, Siddharth Mahadevan will be performing on the final day,” Student Convenor, Bharat Kalita said during a press meet on Thursday.

The tenth edition of Euphuism will be held from February 14. The three-day event will host a number of inter-college competitions like debate, dance, singing and quiz.

The gala event will attract students from all over Assam and will provide a platform to showcase their talent. The winners of the various competitions will be awarded with prize money.

“This year the theme of our programme is ‘Eunoia – the way to a beautiful world.’ We believe that only with a beautiful mind we can build a better world,” Kalita said.

“As part of our initiative, we will also have a charity event at Mother Teresa Foundation on Friday,” he added.

There will be free entry for students on the first two days of the fest. There will be passes for the final day of the event which are being distributed in colleges in Guwahati.
