Sikkim hosts Chief Minister’s Gold Cup Archery Tournament

Sichey from Sikkim will take on Yangtse Tours and Travel from Bhutan in the finals of the 17th Chief Minister’s Gold Cup Archery Tournament 2018 here at Sikkim Archery Association [SAA] archery field in Tathangchen on Sunday.

The tournament is being organized by Sikkim Archery Association (SAA).

Sichey has defeated Navey in the first semi-final match to secure its berth in the finals of the tournament, while Yangtse Tours & Travel outplayed Garuda Blue from Gangtok in another semi-final match.

The final match will be starting tomorrow at 9 AM. SAA has invited sports enthusiasts and people to come and support their teams in the final match.

The tournament had seventeen teams from Sikkim, West Bengal and Bhutan.

The tournament will give away cash prize of Rs 1 lakh to the winner and Rs 50,000 to runners-up team along with trophies.
