A devastating forest fire has broken out at Tingley in South Sikkim district.
As per reports, fire has engulfed the entire area of Nagi forest.
Fire tenders from Namchi and Rabong are trying to douse the forest fire.
The fire broke out late on Monday night.
However, throughout Tuesday, the fire started spread rapidly.
According to forest officials in Sikkim, fire near the Gonjang Monastery has been controlled.
“Fire tenders are now trying to douse the fire in the forest areas,” informed officials.
