GANGTOK: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) leader and the party’s Lok Sabha candidate Indra Hang Subba launched a fierce critique against the opposition Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) during an election rally at Jorethang in South Sikkim.

In front of a fervent crowd of supporters, Subba condemned the strategies employed by the SDF, specifically targeting SDF leader PD Rai.

Subba rebuked Rai for purportedly resorting to communal rhetoric, questioning his dedication to the people of Sikkim.

Subba accused him of engaging in divisive politics instead of prioritizing the state’s welfare.

“PD Rai claims to represent Sikkim, but his divisive language only exacerbates communal tensions,” Subba asserted.

He added: “We must prioritize Sikkim’s interests over individual community affiliations.”

Subba contested Rai’s assertions regarding the Sikkim chief minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay, refuting claims that Tamang’s leadership was divisive.

He stated that under the SKM government, Sikkim has witnessed stability and progress.
