Rahul Gandhi’s latest dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi follows a clash between the troopers of the Indian Army and China’s PLA soldiers at Naku La in Sikkim along the McMohan line.
“There was a minor face-off at Naku La area of north Sikkim on 20 January 2021,” said the Army in a statement.
However, the “minor face-off was resolved by local commanders as per established protocols”.
Further blaming the Centre for China trying to intrude into Indian Territory, Rahul Gandhi said that due to the deplorable condition of the Country’s economy, China has dared to undertake such misadventures.
“India’s strength is a strong economy, employed youth & social harmony. Had Mr Modi protected our farmers-labourers-workers instead of hollowing out India by helping his crony capitalist friends, China wouldn’t have had the guts to take our land,” Rahul Gandhi said.
