Karishma Rai from Sikkim has been shortlisted to attend the coaching camp for the preparation of India U-17 women’s football team for the BRICS Games to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The coaching camp has started on Monday and will be held till 15 July at SAI, New Delhi.

The Preparation camp is being hosted by the Sports Authority of India.

She hails from Rabongla in South Sikkim and is a regular player of the State senior girl’s squad.

Sikkim Football Association president, Menla Ethenpa congratulated Karishma for her selection in the coaching camp and further expressed best wishes for her future endeavours.
