Sikkim chief minister Pawan Chamling encouraged students to have growth mindset to be the best student of the world.
He was speaking as the chief guest on the valedictory function of the three-day long annual meet of Sikkim Against Addiction Towards Healthy India (SAATHI) at Saramsa Garden in East Sikkim on Sunday.

He further encouraged them to explore their full capacity and potential by pursuing their area of interest from a career perspective.
Addressing a huge gathering of students from across the State, the chief minister stressed upon the need of sense of ownership and responsibility to make Sikkim the Best State in all sector of the world. He added that everyone needs to give their contribution in the State and nation building process.
He encouraged young students to change their mindset of just doing the government job. He mentioned that the government job has the limited scope and a person cannot fully explore his capacity and potential in the government job.

He encouraged young children to choose the career of their interest to be successful in the life. He expressed that Sikkimese students have the full potential and capacity to be scientists, researchers, artists and successful personality in different areas.
He encouraged students to be competitive, positive and consistency in their hardwork. He stressed upon the need of growth mindset in students to be the best student of the world. He mentioned that the State government has provided all facilities and opportunities to students to get the best and complete education upto the higher level.
He applauded initiatives and works of SAATHI among the students in different issues by creating a mass awareness.
While mentioning about various scholarships and programmes of the State government, the CM urged student to increase their capacity to take the full advantage of opportunities created by the government for students. He added that the government has been working to ensure no one should left behind in the State.
On the same, he stated that the government has provided the equal protection, reservation and scholarship to everyone in the state so students need to work hard and build capacity to take advantage of these opportunities.
