Miss Teen Himalaya International & Miss Teen Bharat 2018 title winner, Drishya Chettri from Sikkim has expressed her desire to bring the crown of Miss World to Sikkim. Inspired by Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar in the field of modelling, she has planned to go further in modelling and acting.

A very confident Drishya who recently came back home after winning the title of Miss Teen Himalaya International & Miss Teen Bharat 2018 held at Delhi. By winning the title, she has now been selected to represent India in the upcoming Miss Teen International to be held in Thailand next year. She also got a role of the sister of the lead actress in a bollywood movie of Aman Gandhi.

The beauty pageant was organized by Aman Gandhi Film Productions and she was the only participant from Sikkim in the contest.

14-years-old Drishya is a class VIII student of Bahai School, Tadong. She is the eldest daughter of BK Chettri and Kunta Chettri of Samlick-Marchak in East Sikkim and presently residing at Daragaon, Tadong. Being a very good dancer, she also a finalists of North East Got Talent in 2015.

Drishya expressed her happiness on winning the title Miss Teen Himalaya International & Miss Teen Bharat 2018. “It was mix reaction for me as I was crying with happiness when I was crowned with the title,” she said. She also expressed her immense happiness on getting the golden opportunity to represent the country in the Miss Teen International.

“The contest was really tough among sixteen finalist teens from different parts of the country and it the whole event was a learning experience for me and filled me more confident to face future contests,” She stated.

Drishya expressed her gratitude to her parents, Bahai School Tadong and its Principal and all other who have been supporting to achieve her dream.  She stated to prepare harder to win the international title next year.
