The Reliance Jio on Thursday commercially launched its much-awaited Jio Fiber broadband service in India.
The launching of the service is expected disrupt the broadband and DTH/cable TV market in India.
With Jio Fiber, the company is looking to offer not only its broadband service, but also DTH services and landline connection.
Data plans are available in six tiers, with the lowest end of the spectrum starting at ?699 and going all the way up to ?8,499, Live Mint reported.
Promising lightning fast broadband speeds of up to 1 Gbps and a minimum of 100 Mbps, Jio Fiber also comes with a landline phone with free unlimited voice calls along with a set-top box which can also be bought for free.
