Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ on Wednesday; BJP stalwarts, Muslim leaders among invitees

A day ahead of the grand Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ ceremony at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, details like the guest list and the invitation card have been unveiled on Tuesday.

According to the Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ invitation letter, five people will be on the stage – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Mahant Nritya Gopaldas.

The Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ invite also has an image of the idol of ‘Ram Lalla’ or infant Lord Ram on it.

Each invitation of the Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ has a security code that will work only once; if the guest exits the venue they will not be allowed back in, reports quoting Champat Rai of the Ram Temple trust stated.

Invites have been sent to some 175 people for the elaborate Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ organized on Wednesday amid the COVID-19 pandemic across the country.

Senior BJP leaders like L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi are also invited to the Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’.

The list of invitees to the Ram Mandir ‘bhumi pujan’ also includes several Muslim leaders from the region.
