Good news for cine lovers as a new Bodo feature film Onnai is coming up.

The film is being directed by award-winning director Raja Narzary.

Onnai is being produced by Riya Brahma under the banner of RB Film Production.

The Bodo feature film will be shot in various locations including the beautiful picturesque locations in Shillong, the State capital of Meghalay, Sikkim, Bodoland Territorial Areas District (BTAD) and also in Thailand.

The film will highlight the real meaning of love which is to sacrifice one’s love for others and also project some crucial aspects of the society and social awareness.

The cast members include Lingshar Basumatary, Fuji Basumatary, Wingkel Brahma, Riya Brahma and Takla who will play the important roles among others. Pankaj Lahary has written both the story and the script.

Film director Raja Narzary graduated from the Asian Academy of Film & Television.

Raja Narzary also won the ‘Best Director’ award in the Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival 2017 for the film ‘From Nowhere’.

In 2014, the first Bodo Musical film ‘Daoga: The Musical Journey’ was released by filmmaker Raja Narzary.

Raja Narzary recently posted on the social networking site Facebook: “Presenting the first song of our upcoming film “ONNAI” – A story of love and sacrifice. We thank RB Film Productions and Abo Riya Brahma for giving us this opportunity to showcase this beautiful song.”

Narzary also thanked the team from Nepal team for their support and also thanked choreographer Purna Basumatary for the ‘beautiful’ choreography.
