Guwahati: In a shameful act, a private tutor has been accused of allegedly raping a 14-year-old minor girl in his house.
According to reports, the minor girl’s father lodged an FIR in Bilaipur police station in Hailakandi district on Friday.
It is learnt that the private tutor has taken the girl to his house to work as a maid and he promised to also get her educated.
But things took a different turn after the girl started staying in his house.
The girl was allegedly molested on a daily basis and she wasn’t allowed to return to her home.
According to the FIR, the girl was beaten up brutally by the man and his family members on June 19 and she was handed over to the village head person to take her back home.
The abused and brutalized girl narrated her ordeal once she reached home.
After that, the girl’s father lodged the FIR against the accused private tutor.
No arrest has been made till now and police are verifying the claims.
