The week was inaugurated on October 29 last with administration of ‘Integrity Pledge’ taking by the Chief General Manager (CGM) (PLS). To make people aware vis-à-vis the ill effects of corruption on our society, OIL has kept the theme of this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week as ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India’.

As part of the Week, OIL will organise various awareness programmes for the school and college students in Guwahati and also for the common masses. A debate competition was held on October 30 last amongst students from various schools, the release concluded.
