The NPP laid a three-point prime agenda to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with pledge to ‘commit to the cause of indigenous people, minorities and the marginalized’.
The party also promises to ensure that the indigenous people of the Northeast and the minorities assert their ‘political say’ and ensure to ‘push for a strong political voice from the region to safeguard the interest of the people of the Northeast.
The NPP has also launched a social media campaign to woo the voters of the Northeast to vote for the party candidates across the states of the region.
In a Facebook post, the NPP stated that the party has embarked on a progressive mission to influence the lives of the people by representing their political, cultural and social aspiration.
‘We want to voice the concerns of our people and ensure economic reformation’, the post further read.
The NPP also urges the people to ‘pledge their support’ to its campaign and suggest measures that affect the people of the Northeast and the future of the people of the region.
The NPP through its social media campaign also stated that ‘a vote for us’ is a promise of an ‘everlasting bonding to secure the future of our next generation’.
