“Violence cannot bring any positive change or development to the society,” said Nagaland Governor RN Ravi on Wednesday.
He was addressing the Peace and Unity Day celebrations organised by Eastern Nagaland Public Organisation public ground in Tuensang.

‘Unity for Peace, Peace for Unity’ was the theme for the occasion.
Ravi further urged the people to accept peace as the core element for prosperity in the Northeast region.
“For a society to progress, peace is in society is the most important element,” Ravi reiterated.

“What we need is proper healthcare facilities, quality education, better connectivity and improved human development in the region,” he added.
Ravi also greeted the people of Tuensang on the occasion and urged them to strive for peace and development.
